Ellipsis Land is a performance choreographed and performed by Josefina Camus and Pepa Ubera with sound by Simone Salvaticci.

Ellipsis Land talks about the relationship between the virtual and the physical realm in our times where technology prevails. We explore the connection between the body and the technology that surrounds it, and look at how we've adapted the way we approach and apprehend our environment. From there we embody and embrace a new reality where our nervous system is in connection with the technological world.
The performance displays the experience of the skin, the sensations, the body as a membrane that interacts with reality as an energetic field that both emanates and receives energy. Experiencing the body as a container of energy that navigates through different states of being, expanding the field of sensation into the audience. Through our choreographic language we depict a variety of images from astronauts, insects, seaweed, jellyfish, molecules, geometrical figures, landscapes...
Articulating the organic and the artificial, Ellipsis Land creates a perceptive universe that questions the order of the daily life, in relation to the force of gravity, the body, the architecture and sounds around us.

Ellipsis Land aborde la relation entre la réalité virtuelle et la réalité physique, considérant l'influence de la technologie dans notre vie actuelle. Nous jouons à mélanger l'organique et l'artificiel, en créant un univers perceptif qui questionne l'ordre de la vie quotidienne ; par rapport à la force de gravité, au langage du corps, à l'architecture et à la sonorité.

Ellipsis Land (Campo Elíptico), es una pieza realizada en colaboración por Josefina Camus (Chile) y Pepa Ubera (España/ UK), ambas artistas participan en tanto coreógrafas y performers. El sonido original con performance en vivo es realizado por Simone Salvatici (Italia/UK).

Ellipsis Land aborda la relación entre el mundo virtual y el mundo físico, dado nuestros tiempos donde la tecnología tiene un lugar privilegiado. Explorando la conexión entre el cuerpo y la tecnología que le rodea, Ellipsis Land reflexiona sobre cómo hemos adaptado nuestra formas de aproximarnos y concebir nuestro ambiente. Desde ahí se encarna y acoge una nueva realidad, en la que nuestro sistema nervioso esta conectado al mundo tecnológico.
La performance exhibe la experiencia de la piel, las sensaciones, el cuerpo como una membrana, un campo energético que interactúa con la realidad, que tanto emana como recibe energía. Experienciando el cuerpo como un contenedor de energía que navega a través de diferentes estados, expandiendo el campo de sensaciones hacia la audiencia. El lenguaje coreográfico transita por un imaginario diverso pasando por astronautas, insectos, algas, medusas, moléculas, figuras geométricas, paisajes...
Articulando lo orgánico y lo artificial Ellipsis Land crea un universo perceptivo que cuestiona el orden de la vida cotidiana, en relación a la fuerza de gravedad, al cuerpo, la arquitectura y el sonido que nos rodea.
