Soy artista e investigadora interdisciplinaria y transdisciplinaria. Mi práctica artística transita entre experiencias, instalaciones, performances y artes visuales.
Mi trabajo práctica y teórico se fundan en mi experiencia habitando diversos territorios y el cruce disciplinar de mi formación en Artes Visuales, Danza y Literatura; PhD en Arte (Goldsmiths University, Londres, Inglaterra, 2024), Magister en Artes con mención en Danza (Universite Paris 8 – Paris, Francia, 2016), Lic. en Pedagogía en Danza (Universidad ARCIS – Santiago, Chile, 2010) y Licenciatura en Literatura (Universidad de Chile, Santiago, Chile, 2005).
Durante mi investigación de doctorado (2017-2022) profundicé en explorar la conexión con otras especies además de lo humano, desde una perspectiva ecofeminista y decolonial: “Soy el ambiente que habito. Identidad situada, experiencia somática y entorno más que humano” (Título de mi tesis doctoral, Goldsmiths University of London).
Me interesa fomentar experiencias que conectan colectivamente y nos interconectan con el entorno más que humano, territorial. En esta búsqueda he experimentado mi acercamiento a plantas, algas, líquenes, hongos, musgos y otras especies, recolectando historias y explorando somáticamente tramas de interacción con el entorno. Mis propuestas buscan expandir y reorganizar las posibilidades perceptivas, sensoriales y ecosociales, abordando la interconexión desde un prisma ecológico e intercultural.
Mi trabajo visual explora técnicas mixtas, materialidades orgánicas y diversas tecnologías. Mis piezas incluyen escultura, collage digital, arte textil, video, palabra hablada y sonido.
He presentado mi trabajo en diversos museos, galerías y teatros tales que: Parque Cultural de Valparaíso PCdV (CH), MIM (CH), Galería Réplica (CH), Casa Varas (CH), Centro NAVE (CH), TATE Modern (UK), Arcola Theatre (UK), Sadler’s Wells (UK), Micadanses (FR), MAINSD’ŒUVRES (FR), Museo de l'aquila reale (IT), entre otros.
El 2023 publiqué el libro "Pequeña Ecología. Comunidad, performance e instalación. SoHo, N.Y., 1970s" (Metales Pesados, Santiago, 2023).
Actualmente enseño en la Universidad Austral de Chile, la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, la Universidad Católica de Temuco y en otros proyectos educacionales. Colaboro con Vivi Méndez en el proyecto Fondart 2026 AnAtómica, una creación que integra arte y ciencia, donde investigamos desde la ficción y especulación la adaptación del cuerpo humano al cambio climático. Esta obra se presentará en octubre de este año en Galería Réplica (Valdivia).
Colaboro también con Rodrigo Chaverini en la dupla Detrás del Futuro, proyecto interdisciplinario de instalación y performance (Más información en www.detrasdelfuturo.com).

I am an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary artist and researcher. My artistic practice moves across experiential work, installation, performance, and the visual arts.
My practical and theoretical work is grounded in my experience of inhabiting diverse territories, as well as in the interdisciplinary intersections of my studies in Visual Arts, Dance, and Literature: PhD in Art from Goldsmiths, University of London (2024); Master’s degree in Arts with a specialization in Dance from Université Paris 8 (2016); Bachelor’s degree in Dance Pedagogy from Universidad ARCIS (2010); and Bachelor’s degree in Literature from Universidad de Chile (2005).
During my doctoral research (2017–2022), I deepened my exploration of connections with species beyond the human from an ecofeminist and decolonial perspective: I am the surroundings I inhabit. Situational identity, somatic experience and more-than-human environment (title of my doctoral thesis, Goldsmiths, University of London).
I am interested in fostering experiences that create collective connections and deepen our interrelation with territorial more-than-human environments. Within this inquiry, I have developed practices of engagement with plants, algae, lichens, fungi, mosses, and other species, gathering stories and somatically exploring networks of interaction with the environment. My work seeks to expand and reorganize perceptual, sensory, and ecosocial possibilities, approaching interconnection through an ecological and intercultural lens.
My visual work explores mixed media, organic materialities, and diverse technologies. My pieces include sculpture, digital collage, textile art, video, spoken word, and sound.
I have presented my work in museums, galleries, and theatres, including Parque Cultural de Valparaíso PCdV (CH), MIM (CH), Galería Réplica (CH), Casa Varas (CH), Centro NAVE (CH), TATE Modern (UK), Arcola Theatre(UK), Sadler’s Wells (UK), Micadanses (FR), MAINSD’ŒUVRES (FR), Museo de l'aquila reale (IT), among others.
In 2023, I published the book Pequeña Ecología. Comunidad, performance e instalación. SoHo, N.Y., 1970s (Metales Pesados, Santiago, 2023).
I currently teach at Universidad Austral de Chile, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and Universidad Católica de Temuco, as well as in other educational projects.
I am currently collaborating with Vivi Méndez on the 2026 Fondart project AnAtómica, a creative research project integrating art and science, through which we investigate through fiction and speculation how the human body adapts to climate change. The work will be presented in October this year at Galería Réplica.
I also collaborate with Rodrigo Chaverini in the duo Detrás del Futuro, an interdisciplinary installation and performance project (More information at www.detrasdelfuturo.com).
