ICE STONES

Residency at the Art Centre La Centrale, Paris, December 2017. Infusions with flours and herbs transformed into sculptures on ice.

This experiment continues with a site specific action that took place at Canal St. Martin, Paris. I spread all the “ice stones”, then I made a kind of tower and at the end I let them melt into the canal. The final action was a way to connect the ice as "water fragments" with the whole; the river/canal. This action revealed the fluid matter of the water, where the block of ice becomes liquid while it's melting, and at the end disappears into the current of the canal.
