In May 2017, Josefina and choreographer Rodrigo Chaverini did a residence called “Light” at the centre of creation and residency NAVE (Santiago, Chile). As the name implies, the object of research was light.

It consisted of a primary stage of approach and exploration: a theoretical manner of confronting light-based phenomena, in material as well as energy and technical mechanisms, to later put it into scenic practice. This process absorbed different facets of the information investigated, resulting in imagery that intersects different times; futurist elements with those of the past.

The staging hints at performative installations, taking the form of lighting landscapes or frames in movement, with an intersection of digital and analog technology (LED, transparencies, radio recorder, digital archives, cassettes, video projector, etc).

The project interrogates the forms that the body acquire in this landscape fragmented by anachronistic technologies: memory and “futurology” transform the human body into an uncertain image: post-human, cyborg, animal, vegetable, mechanical.

En mayo de 2017 Josefina y el coreografo Rodrigo Chaverini realizaron la residencia de investigación "Luz" en el centro de creación y residencias Nave (Santiago de Chile), nombre homónimo a su objeto de investigación, la luz. Consistió en una primera fase de aproximación y exploración; abordando teóricamente el fenómeno lumínico en tanto materia, energía y mecanismo técnico, para luego desplazarlo a la práctica escénica. Este proceso absorvió los diferentes prismas de información investigados, emergiendo un imaginario que cruza distintos tiempos, con elementos futuristas y del pasado.
La escenificación se vislumbra como instalaciones performáticas, configurándose como paisajes lumínicos o cuadros en movimiento, donde se utilice y cruce tecnología digital y analógica (led, diapositivas, radiograbadoras, archivos digitales, casettes, video proyector, etc).
El proyecto interroga las formas que el cuerpo adquiere en este paisaje atravesado por tecnologías anacrónicas; la memoria y la futurología transforman lo humano hacia un imaginario incierto: posthumano, cyborg, animal, vegetal, maquinal.
